    • Hi friends

Since quite a number of us enjoy playing Dota, I thought of creating a topic where we post IP address and we can play together. I can host but right now restricted to BattleLan/Lancraft/IRC/Yawle only. Basically anything which you can connect with an IP address of the host. Others can also host and give the IP so we can join. Currently I can't host on GGC but if you guys want to play on GGC feel free to do so but I won't be able to join.

I'll be free on about 3-4 days a week so I can host if you guys need a host just give me a pm or contact me on msn.

      There are some rules though.

The first rule of SC Dota Club is that you must use your SgForum's nick in the game. Failure to do so will result in kicked out from the game.

The second rule of SC Dota Club is that no leaving during the game unless you have something serious to do (e.g. misfortune, illness). Leaving will result in your nick being posted here on the Shit List.

The third and final rule of SC Dota Club is that we have accept no nonsense such as trolling, flaming, flame baiting and extreme rudeness. If one behaves like such, he/she will permanently not be invited to SC Dota Club games.

Hope we get more support from forummers and friends alike.

You guys can ask me for help regarding connections and where/how to get/use them. I'll be able to provide support for BattleLAn/LanCraft/IRC/Yawle.

For those wish to join us but do not have a programmes such as BattleLAn/LanCraft/IRC/Yawle, I would suggest to use BattleLan for it's ease of use.

You can download it at http://home.comcast.net/~sonicsmart/battlelan.html and click on Download BattleLan.

How to use BattleLan? It's very simple, let me show you how.

      1st Step: Open BattleLan

2nd Step:Type the IP Address in the IP Address column.

Step 3: After entering the IP Address, click on Add and click Start.

After clicking Start, you should get something like this

Step 4: On WC3 and go to Local Area Network and look for the game. Click on Join and you're readt to play.

Simple program to enjoy the game.

In case potential hosts who wish to host but do not know how to get their IP address, simply visit http://whatismyip.com/ to get your IP address. Simple and fuss free.

In the case that you're still confused, feel free to PM me, I'll help you out.

Contact me via msn if you guys need a host, my msn is iamjacksmirkingrevenge@hotmail.com.

Even though they ban those who using Shadowfrench maphacker, i still have my way using it in Gg Client. Gg is easier to find a game, it have lot of channel under Singapore category. And have lvl when you play too, buddy ban player that leave. Automaticly check ping.
